2 cup – Channa dal

1/2 cup – Urad Dal

1/2 tsp – fennel

A handful – finely chopped Coconut

10 – Green Chillies

Coriander leaves, finely cut  ,Salt

  1. Soak chana dal and urad dal separately for 1/2 an hour
  2. Set aside a fistful of soaked urad dal and 2 tsp of channa dal
  3. Ground together coarsely the dals without adding water
  4. Add finely cut green chillies, fennel and coriander leaves and salt
  5. Add the lentils which were kept aside
  6. Take a lemon-sized dough, flatten with wet hands
  7. and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown
