INGREDIENTS
2 cup – Channa dal
1/2 cup – Urad Dal
1/2 tsp – fennel
A handful – finely chopped Coconut
10 – Green Chillies
Coriander leaves, finely cut ,Salt
- Soak chana dal and urad dal separately for 1/2 an hour
- Set aside a fistful of soaked urad dal and 2 tsp of channa dal
- Ground together coarsely the dals without adding water
- Add finely cut green chillies, fennel and coriander leaves and salt
- Add the lentils which were kept aside
- Take a lemon-sized dough, flatten with wet hands
- and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown
